funded by the ESRC Festival of Social Science, we organised a short hybrid workshop to produce abortion ‘zines. attended by students, abortion activists, and the “abortion interested” general public, we first discussed how abortions are depicted in media, films, television, and books before inviting the group (online and in person) to produce their response to the question, “what’s in an abortion, anyway?”.
